Writer's Block

An outline of a boy from my art class with a background that was supposed to portray a certain mood. I took a really old poem I wrote and scrambled it up in the background...if you can't read it, that's the whole point XP It's supposed to be choppy and unintelligable, because he has writer's block (and it's pretty bad and I don't want people reading it XP). This was done with conte on black paper and won first place in our little school art show for the conte/chalk category.

Note: I had to scan this in pieces, so the black part came out different colors and really weird because of my scanner, so I had to edit it a bit with photoshop. I still put it in Traditional because this is how it looks if you're actually looking at it, and I didn't want to put it in Digital just because my scanner screwed up.
