Description
This is a painting of my insane black kitten, Zoe. I wanted to try to capture what I see when she's lunging to attack me 
Her face came out a little wider than it should be, but it's not supposed to be realistic anyways. A lot of the stuff I do is very realistic, so I was trying to get away from that. It's approximately 16" by 20", and it was done with acrylic with pallet knives.

This makes a really striking and dramatic picture - I especially like how the colours of her eyes also make up the background, and the bold contrast between them and the cat give it a pop-art look.
I LOVE the background - it's very 'spring-like', and the messy quality of the paint contrasts well with the very solid and neat painting of the cat. Props for using pallette knives too - never tried them, because they look too hard to use.
